Chapter 1
Passionate Night

It's been 6 months since Kate Beckett first case in Washington, D.C. Kate is really missing her fiance Rick Castle. Kate is sitting at her desk at the agency. Kate sighed. Rachel McCord walked over to Kate.
RACHEL: What's wrong Kate?
KATE: I just really miss someone.
RACHEL: Would that someone be your fiance?
KATE: Yes, it is. It is so hard being away from him.
RACHEL: You really love you him don't you?
KATE: Yes, I do love you more anything else in the world.
RACHEL: I don't like how he got involved in that case when you first came here.
KATE: Rick, has always been a little too curious for his own good.
Rachel laughed. All of a sudden Kate's cellphone beeped.
RACHEL: What was that?
KATE: It means I have message on my cellphone.
RACHEL: Are you going to check it?
KATE: Yes, I am.
Kate took out her cellphone and looked at it.
RACHEL: What does it say?
KATE: It says "Happy Anniversary beautiful, I'll see you later love Rick".
RACHEL: How is he supposed to see you later?
KATE: I have no idea.
RACHEL: Does you Rick have a key to your apartment?
KATE: Yes, he does.
A few hours later Kate went to her apartment. Kate opened the door and smelled candles. Kate walked inside her apartment. Kate noticed a table set for two with candles in the middle. There is also champagne in bucket. Kate looked around. All of sudden Rick walked up behind Kate and wrapped his arms around her.
RICK: Hello beautiful.
KATE: Did you do all this Richard?
RICK: Yes, I did.
KATE: Why?
RICK: It's our anniversary and you're worth it.
KATE: Wow, it's so beautiful.
Rick spun Kate around in his arms.
RICK: Yes, it is but you're more beautiful.
KATE: Rick, I didn't know you had this in you.
RICK: I can't take all credit because Javier and Kevin helped me figured out what do.
KATE: Rick, I love you.
RICK: Kate, I love you too.
Rick pulled Kate close and kissed her. Kate just smiled. They eat the meal that Rick prepared for them. Rick walked over to Kate's chair and pulled her up into his arms. Rick started to kiss Kate very passionately. Kate noticed how intense Rick's kisses are and she pulled away.
KATE: Wow handsome, those aren't your normal kisses.
RICK: You are right they aren't my normal kisses.
KATE: Are you sure that you want to do what your kisses are saying?
RICK: Yes, I do.
KATE: I want too.
Rick and Kate started to kiss passionately. They go to the bedroom and fell onto the bed. Kate and Rick start to kiss passionately.
RICK: Shouldn't we use protection?
KATE: We should but I don't really feel like getting up.
RICK: Kate, what if you get pregnant?
KATE: If that happens that we will deal with it.
RICK: Are you sure about that?
KATE: I have never more sure of anything else in my life.
Rick smiled than they started to kiss again. They kissed for a few hours later than started to make love. They stop around 3am in the morning and fall asleep in each other's embrace.

Chapter 2
Kate Finds Out She's Pregnant

It's been almost 4 weeks since Kate and Rick's anniversary. Kate hasn't been feeling that great since that night when they made love. Kate keeps shaking that fact that she might be pregnant off. Rachel has noticed that something is wrong Kate.
RACHEL: Is everything alright Kate?
KATE: Everything is just fine.
RACHEL: Are you sure about that?
KATE: Yes, I'm sure.
RACHEL: I don't believe you.
KATE: Alright fine, I haven't been feeling that great lately.
RACHEL: Have you go to the doctor?
KATE: No, I haven't because I don't want to go alone.
RACHEL: I'll go with you.
KATE: Thanks Rachel that's means a lot to me.
Rachel just smiled. Kate and Rachel walked the doctor's office. The receptionist looked up when the walked in.
RECEPTIONIST: Hello, my name is Crystale Brown.
KATE: My name is Katherine Beckett but please call me Kate and I haven't been feeling that great lately.
CRYSTALE: Alright, I'll page Dr. Annaleah Kyngston.
KATE: Thanks.
CRYSTALE: Paging Dr. Annaleah Kyngston.
A few minutes later a lady with brown hair appeared.
DR. KYNGSTON: You paged me Crystale.
CRYSTALE: Yes, I did because the lady with long brown wants to see a doctor.
Dr. Kyngston turned to Kate.
DR. KYNGSTON: Is that you?
KATE: Yes, it is. My name is Kate Beckett.
DR. KYNGSTON: Alright follow me Miss Beckett.
Dr. Kyngston started to walk off and Kate followed her. They walked into Dr. Kyngston's office.
KATE: Please let's get this over with.
DR. KYNGSTON: How long have you been feeling sick?
KATE: It's has been on and off for almost 4 weeks.
DR. KYNGSTON: Do you have a boyfriend?
KATE: No, I actually have a fiance.
DR. KYNGSTON: Congratulations Kate.
KATE: Thanks, a lot. I love him so much.
DR. KYNGSTON: What's his name?
KATE: I don't really like saying because a lot of people envy when I tell them.
DR. KYNGSTON: What do you mean?
KATE: He's a famous writer or thinks he is.
DR. KYNGSTON: Please tell me his name.
Kate sighed.
KATE: His name is Richard Edgar Alexander Rodgers Castle.
DR. KYNGSTON: You are lucky to be engaged to him.
KATE: Are you fan of his?
DR. KYNGSTON: Yes, I am but my twin brother Chandler is a bigger fan.
KATE: Wow, that's cool. I miss him right because he's back in New York City.
Dr. Kyngston checked Kate out.
DR. KYNGSTON: Well, I owe you another congratulations Miss Beckett.
KATE: What do you mean?
DR. KYNGSTON: You're pregnant.
Kate gasped and looked down at her stomach.
KATE: Wow, the love between Rick and I created a baby.
DR. KYNGSTON: Yes, it did. I know a lot of woman that will envy you.
KATE: Yes, I know and that's the reason that not a lot of people know that he's my fiance.
DR. KYNGSTON: What's he like?
KATE: He's a nice and most romantic guy that I know.
DR. KYNGSTON: That's nice and my husband is romantic too.
KATE: What's your husband's name?
DR. KYNGSTON: My husband's name is Alexande and we have an 8 year old daugther named Orabelle.
KATE: I don't really know what my child to be.
Kate left the office and went back to where Rachel is waiting.
RACHEL: What did the doctor tell you?
KATE: I don't want to say just yet because I have to talk to Rick.
They walked back to work. Carl Villante walked over to them.
CARL: Where did the two of you take off to?
KATE: I had to go to the doctor but I didn't want to go alone so Rachel came with me.
CARL: Why did have you go to the doctor?
KATE: I don't really want to discuss that.
Carl sighed and walked off. Kate took out her cellphone and dialed Rick's home number. Martha picked up the phone.
MARTHA: Hello, this is Martha Rodgers.
KATE: Hi, Martha, it's Kate. Can I talk to your son please?
Rick walked walked into the room at the very minute.
MARTHA: Yes, you can because just came into the room.
RICK: Who is it mother?
MARTHA: It's your fiancee.
Rick took the phone from his mother and put it his ear.
RICK: Hello beautiful and I really miss you.
KATE (on the phone): Hi, Rick, I miss you too my ruggedly handsome man.
Rick smiled a little.
RICK: Did you just phone to tell me that you missed me or is there something else you want to tell me?
KATE (on the phone): There is something that i need to tell you but not over the phone.
RICK: Do you want me to come Washington D.C.?
KATE (on the phone): Yes, I do.
RICK: I'll be there as soon as I can.
KATE (on the phone): That's great and I'll meet you at my apartment.
RICK: Alright, I love you Katherine.
KATE (on the phone): I love you too Richard.
Rick and Kate hung up on the each other. Kate walked over to Carl.
CARL: What would you like?
KATE: I have to go home and wait for my fiance to come for a visit.
CARL: Why?
KATE: I need to talk him about something than as I do than I'll tell everyone else what's going on.
CARL: Alright than.
Kate left and went to her apartment. Kate opened the door and walked inside. Kate walked into the living room and sat on the couch to wait for Rick. Kate closed her eyes for a few minutes. A few hours later Rick arrived and opened the door. Rick walked inside and seen Kate asleep on the couch. Rick walked over to the couch. Rick leaned down and kissed Kate's forehead. Kate moaned and opened her eyes.
RICK: Hi beautiful.
Kate smiled. Rick sat down on the couch and pulled Kate close to him.
KATE: Hello handsome.
RICK: What did you need tell me?
KATE: I haven't been feeling that great so I went to doctor with Rachel today.
Rick looked into Kate's hazel eyes.
RICK: How are you feeling now?
KATE: I'm feeling okay.
RICK: That's good.
KATE: Do you remember what happened that night of our anniversary almost 4 weeks ago?
RICK: Yes, I remember because it one of the best nights of my life.
Kate sighed than looked at Rick's blue eyes.
KATE: Richard, I'm pregnant.
Rick gasped than pulled Kate tighter.
RICK: That makes me so happy.
KATE: Why my ruggedly handsome man?
RICK: I've always wanted to have another child but I didn't think it would ever happen again.
KATE: Rick, I didn't want to have children until you and I started dating.
RICK: What made you change your mind?
KATE: I've grown to really like Alexis and it's made want to have a little girl of my own.
Rick smiled. Kate cuddled up to Rick. They stay like for awhile.
RICK: Do you think should get back?
KATE: Yes, I should but I don't like being so far away from you especially now that I need you.
Rick got to his feet and pulled Kate up into his embrace. Kate just smiled. Rick and Kate walked back the FBI Headquarters. Carl, Matt and Rachel walked over to them.
CARL: What's he doing here?
RICK: I wanted to make sure she got back here safety.
Rachel looked at Kate.
RACHEL: Are you going to tell us what's wrong now?
Kate took a deep breath.
KATE: I am 3 and half weeks pregnant.
Rachel gasped.
RACHEL: Wow, congrats to both of you.
RICK: Thanks Rachel.
Carl looked at Rick.
CARL: I'll have to send you back with you because I can't have a pregnant woman on my team.
KATE: Why not?
CARL: It's too risky for something to happen to you or your baby.
KATE: Can I come back after the baby is born?
CARL: I'll have to see about that.
Kate cuddled up to Rick. Rick helped Kate pack up her things. Kate and Rick went to back to New York. They walked to Rick's apartment. Rick opened the door and they walked inside. Martha looked at Rick.
MARTHA: What is Kate doing with you?
KATE: I'm not allowed to work for the FBI for awhile.
MARTHA: What did you do?
KATE: It's something that your and son I did.
MARTHA: What do you mean?
RICK: She's pregnant mother.
MARTHA: I'm going to be a grandmother again.
Alexis and Pi walked into the room.
PI: What is going on?
MARTHA: Rick just told me that Kate is pregnant.
ALEXIS: I'm going to have a sibling.
RICK: That's right pumpkin you are.
Alexis walked over and hugged her father.
ALEXIS: I've always wanted to be a sister.
RICK: Why didn't you tell me that?
ALEXIS: I didn't want to make you upset because of all the trouble you've had with woman before Kate.
Rick hugged Alexis.
RICK: I hope the baby is girl and is as sweet as you are pumpkin.
ALEXIS: What's your nickname going for her if is a girl?
RICK: I was thinking either princess or angel.
KATE: Rick, I'm your angel remember.
RICK: Yes, that you are so I'll call her my princess than.
MARTHA: Kate's your angel?
RICK: Yes, she is.
MARTHA: What do you call my son?
KATE: I call him my knight.
ALEXIS: Are you taking my father's last name when you marry him?
KATE: Yes, I am Alexis.
RICK: Katherine Houghton Castle that has a nice ring to it.
KATE: Don't you mean Katherine Houghton Rodgers Castle?
RICK: That has an even nicer ring to it.
MARTHA: Yes, it does.
Pi wrapped his arms around Alexis.
PI: Do you have any names pick for the baby?
KATE: If it's happens to be a boy I'm going to name it James Junior or J.J. for short after my father and if it's a girl I'm going to name it Johanna after my mother.
MARTHA: Those are nice names Kate.
KATE: Thanks Martha.
MARTHA: What about middle names?
KATE: The boy's middle name is going to be Richard and I'm not sure on the girl's middle name yet.
MARTHA: What about making her middle name be Martha?
KATE: That's sounds good but only if it's okay with you.
MARTHA: Kate, I would be honor to have granddaughter that has my name as her middle name.
A few hours later Kate is sleeping in Rick's embrace. Alexis is sleeping Pi's embrace.
